Yobo

Anybody know why Yobo was not on the bench on Sunday? No news about an injury and it just seems strange. I have heard a rumour that he has done a Zaki and not returned from international duty.

If it's true, there's no excuses for "No Shows" after international duty, no player is bigger than the club. I feel sorry for the bloke though, the current back 4 has been unbelievable since he got injured, now he?s on the sidelines through no fault of his own.
He?s been a great servant to Everton Football Club, didn't he play every game of a season recently? I hope he stays, but he?s good enough for first team football and probably should be in someones starting XI.
The problem is we do need cover, what happens if Baines, Lescott or Jagielka get injured? Who else do we have?

It was on the OS. Yobo pulled a hamstring or groin (can't remember) last week in training.... will be out for a couple of weeks.
He was injured, hence why he didn?t play for Nigeria last week. He went to Africa to support his team mates!
Exactly, Chris ? and he would have gotten away with it too if it hadn?t of been for those pesky kids.

Follow the above link and you’ll see that Joseph is still injured.
Lets please put this one straight to bed, eh?
He did a hamstring about 2 weeks ago (prior to Pompey debacle). Said he would be out for 4 weeks and is aiming for the semi-final. Doubt he will get in though but definitely no sign of unrest from a great professional and servant to our club.
Do you work for the Daily Mail or The Scum Mark?
Mark,
Who invents this drivel! Please get a grip, Yobo went nowhere and is going nowhere.
What planet do you exactly live on? He is injured. Fact.
That is why Jacobsen actually got a game against Portsmouth. Come on now.
He was injured along with Hibbert and they were both expected to only be able to return for the FA Cup Semi Final at the earliest, Hibbo just recovered quicker! That was on the official site and everything! Come on people!

He is injured and I’m afraid Jagielka and Lescott have earned their places ahead of Yobo as these two are more consistent and have less lapses in concentration and make less mistakes.
Yobo has all the attributes to be a top centre half and he is a brilliant third choice centre back at the minute, but it annoys me when he switches off in the middle of the game like against Livepool at home where he left Torres twice and he scored.
He is injured, I seen him and Yakubu having a hobble race around Sefton Park with Anichebe judging who won. COYB
I am not a journalist just a massive Evertonian. This rumour was passed to me and I was only hoping that someone would clarify it. Not exactly good news, if he is injured but hope that he will be fit for the Villa game.
Anyone notice how much better we look when Yobo is NOT in the team?
I don?t care how many appearances he?s had, Jags and Lescott should now be the ONLY defensive partnership apart from injuries.
Yobo is the worst proponent of hoofball that we all hate.
