Tim... WTF???

Comments (29)

It's bad enough that you missed (by a mile) the first of today's pens... but to follow it up by saying that Gus Hiddinck is a genuis and appears to have a hold on you in some way or other is not what a committed Blue wants to hear.

To many Evertonians, you represent all that is good about the club and its supporters... so to hear you talk about Hiddiink as if he was the best thing since sliced bread is a little disconcerting to say the least.

Up until tonight's interview, I always thought you were a committed Blue and cared not for anyone else other than Everton and Australia; now I have my doubts. If I was David Moyes I would be having a good talk with you before you pulled the blue shirt on again.

Or maybe he was just trying to do the old Sun Tzu routine of appearing more vulnerable and weak than in reality. No mistake, Cahill passionately wants to win the FA Cup!

First off, I have not heard Tim?s comments. But it's not suprising he praises Hiddink, so do I and just about the entire population of Australia.

The man took us to the World Cup for the 1st time in around 30 years and took us out of the group stage. He gets called Aussie Gus down here.

Regardless of who he coaches, his record speaks for itself; he is one of the very best and Cahill knows it. That doesn?t mean he wouldn?t break his neck trying to beat Chelsea.

Funny how he has done so much for our club and Australia and one comment leads to you having your doubts??

Sorry, Anthony but you?re out of line. Pull your head in!!

Like so many comments on this site, this one was full of bile and vitriol.

Guus (yes that?s how it?s spelt) is still remembered here in Aus as a genius who took Australia to the World Cup.

I?ve been a Blue since the 1950?s and your insularity and lack of appreciation for the way this proud Aussie has worked for the club makes me want to vomit!

Absurd comment, can?t think why the administrators would allow such a comment.

Some people just don?t know what they?re talking about before putting it down in words.

Anthony, go get your brain checked out!

I can’t see the reasoning behind the complaint, Hiddink is a bloody good manager, so is Mourinho and there are plenty more who also aren’t Everton managers but that doesn’t make a traitor either. As said above Tim makes the comment in respect of what Hiddink did for Australian football which is now a well respected international side which has in turn created internal interest and a raft of eager youth players in Australia keen to play for their country.

This post is the biggest crock of shite I’ve ever read. What possesses idiots to write this sort of crap. Tim Cahill would run through brick walls for Everton.

Fergie praised Moyesy before the semi-final and look what happened. I question Sir’s commitment to Man Utd.

Anthony please behave. Cahill is blue to the bone mate and if he respects a manager other than Moyes, then fair play to him.

I hope you’ve had a skinful celebrating, that’s the only excuse for the comment.

Nah... you can’t question Cahill’s dedication to Everton. He looked completely gutted when he missed that penalty, and just as pleased when Jagielka netted his.

Fook me Anthony you are a dope, have you listened to the whole interview or just spazzed out as sson as you heard Tim call Guus a genius. He actually added that it would be down to himself to conteract any plan he has for him.

Good praise for a good manager and you spout this bile. The ale must have been strong yesterday.

Tim’s coments just reflect what a man of integrity he is. No bad words for anyone - just praise for someone he respects. What can possibly be wrong with that?

"Up until tonight’s interview, I always thought you were a committed Blue and cared not for anyone else other than Everton and Australia"

The person he is referring to took Australia to the world cup for the first time in 32 years. So what’s your point?

Hang your head in shame.

And your point is???

Pointless post with no relevance whatsoever. Tim was asked for an opinion and he gave it. you conveniently missed out where Tim said posiive things about having to counteract the Hiddink magic.

I loved Tim?s comments about Liverpool, saying there was no way ever he would join them because of his respect for Everton and us fans

Tim is a 100% er 100% of the time and has the tat to prove it, he?s an Everton legend now in my eyes.

Oh Dear. You really do have to question why there are some fans who despite having plenty to be happy about and plenty of positives to discuss, still spend time looking for and then commenting on negative crap such as this.

If I were you Antony I’d keep my head down if this is all you can think of to post!

Dust yourself off and have a quiet word with yourself.
