I believe Jô does not play as he is on loan ? I think they changed the rules after the Tim Howard fiasco some seasons ago...

Let's make this the matchday thread... LINKS PLEASE!!!

The reamaining games are still important and DM can ill afford to rest players however he is today but why does Osman always stay in? Ossie has had a poor season and was lost in the semi-final but sure enough he keeps his place which must ask the question why no confidence in Rodwell or Gosling today to start? Only DM knows why but surely he can't point to Ossies form?

ljjy your right. hibbert has been terrible. in a great position totally unmarked 4 times now and has not put one decent ball into the box. he commits stupid fouls as well. and his backing off robinho so much its untrue.
if you look at his opposite side (baines) he is simply not good enough. end of

I just hope that City will puss out and try to defend the lead in the second half as this is the only way we can nail them right now.

Ryan, if you watch a replay, Yobo makes the header (to Man Shitteh) then stands and admires it for a bit while Robby does a fat legger towards our goal and is picked out and scores. Thats why it was Yobo’s fault.

I really have resisted bandwagon jumping but the veiws above aout the right side of evertons play are totally justified.

I’m not jumping on the players back or haiving a go at there overall ability but today its poor, needs to be improved if we are to get anything from today..

Hoping for an inprovement and if not focus our play to down the left to play to our obvious strenghs

Try myp2p.eu and look for the link to our game. You may need to download Sopcast to view the stream.

Started watching about 20mins in (just got home!) and we are playing like a bunch of headless chickens! What the hell is Fellaini doing??? I thought i’d reserve my judgement on him till he had a decent run in the team, but the boy can’t pass, he can’t shoot and he doesn’t even run! I don’t think he can cut it in the EPL. We should piss him off and get back as much of the $11mil we paid back asap.

Bring in Vaughan i say...

Ossie’s looked knackered from about the 5th minute which is also a reason why Hibbert looks so exposed. Compare Osman’s work ethic with that of Pienaar’s on the other side and you see the difference. Time to get Vaughany or Gosling in on that right hand side.

This is not a reaction just from this game but i must say Leon Osman is shite. He offers nothing going forward at all. He loses possession too often. I think right-midfield is the position we need to improve in the summer transfer market.
Pienaar is working really well with Baines down the left, and we have arteta coming back into the middle. We just don’t create anything of substance down the right.
