Cup Final Song

I know there's a lot of doom regarding Jag's injury... but I thought maybe us guys on ToffeeWeb could write an unofficial song for our day in May... What do you lot think?

A re-write or just re-release maybe of the "Everton, Everton, We’re forever Everton. All for one, one for all, Everton’s the team that plays beautiful football". With some Z cars mixed in along the way.

I reckon The Farm will be limbering up as we speak...

Loved The Farm, though could never work out why their Sparticus album played quieter than other CDs... and it's like that now on my iPod!

If anyone can improve on this, good luck.

Perhaps we should adopt the theme tune to Casualty or Scrubs given our ridiculous bad luck with injuries. But I heard recently a song I was not familiar with (possibly 60s or maybe even earlier) it went "Give us an E, V, E, R, T, and O and N etc. Maybe a garage version of this would go down well!

I know it may be in poor taste, but Jag the Peg, diddle iddle iddle-um...

If I didn?t laugh I?d cry... On a lighter note, a new take on Chas and Dave with Mikky doing the Ossie Ardiles line ?In de Coop for Ever-ton?... I?ll get me coat.

Get onto The St.Domingo song (youtube) top notch version, it’ll be running round your head all day once you’ve heard it. Great visuals too!
And for A.Dyer it’s the start of a lead in verse to our G. O. T. ,well it is when I’m in a "tired and emotional " state!

I reckon that, after everything he's gone through this week and everything he's done to get us there, Jags deserves his own song at Wembley to cheer him up.

I also think it may help a few of us lot at the same time, so why not. Here's my offering to the tune of Lord of The Dance, or the one that starts 'Dance, dance wherever you may be'.....

Jags, Jags wherever you may be, We're gutted that you're not at Wem-ber-ley, But nor are the Red shite, and their Boy-lady, So come and join us for a drink or three!!

And that's it. Lets get singing. Next verse, repeat to fade!!!

Remember (if you're old enough!) Joe Royle's song? It can be recycled...

For his name is Timmy Cahill
He's the leader of the team.
The finest little Aussie that the world has ever seen.
When Mickey takes a corner,
Timmy nods it in the goal,
And as for Stevie cheater
You can stick him up your hole.
Just a thought ...

We're on the march with Moyes's Army
We're all going to Wembley
And we're there to shake them up when we win the FA Cup!
Because Everton are the greatest football team.

EFC for life.
