Sunderland (away)

We seem to be having a spot of bother here at ToffeeWeb Towers this afternoon... but if we get things back up and running, this can be the match thread.

Team news to follow....

Amazingly FOX TV (here in the US) are showing todays game, the Spurs game and the West Ham games on the tele...and the final...in 7th heaven!!

A win today and no injuries...that’ll do nicely and Hull to win tomorrow too!

Team : Howard, Jacobsen, Yobo, Lescott, Baines, Cahill, Neville, Pienaar, Fellaini, Gosling, Jo.

Subs: Nash, Castillo, Saha, Vaughan, Rodwell, Agard, Wallace

Really pleased by this - I think Jacobsen and Gosling both deserve a start

We need to start putting chances, got horrible feeling this could turn into a Fulham away game where they do f all and score a breakaway goal to beat us.

Yeah and Spurs, West Ham and Fulham coming up. All chasing 7th and all chasing us! Sixth place is not ours yet, boys.

On today’s form I wouldn’t fancy us to take an awful lot from those games.

God damn I hate playing Sunderland, they just call for fouls and offsides and roll around on the ground the whole fucking time. THere better be like 5 minutes of injury time cause half the game has been people setting up free kicks

Why didn’t Vaughan get this game instead of Jo, his finishing has been piss poor so far. Pienaar is having a good game but he needs someone to get on the end of his crosses besides Cahill.

I hope we can nick a goal here. As said above, Spurs, Hammers and Fulham will be highly motivated against us. If we can win today, we secure 6th. I don’t think we are playing badly today, just very relaxed.

The defense seem solid, but again there is very little from the midfield going forward. Pienaar is having a good game, but always seems to have limited options of who to pass to. has to come back on himself.

Gosling looks lost on the right, he hasnt been in the game at all yet. Same for Cahill, he is not effective when playing so deep. I am hoping that the have been told to ease off the gas a little, and that can be the reason we are playing with so little...desire.

lets hope the second half offers us more. Come on you blue boys, dont coast to the end of the season now. 5th is still there for us!!

Only bug is that the picture freezes if you move the window. Much better quality than the streams though.
