Digging deep and getting dirty...

Mugging Bolton in the last minute. Magic. It's taken 8 league games but finally we are starting to roll up our sleeves. Big Mar has come under some major unnecessary flak for not doing the business from his first kick of a ball, but this guy didn't put that price tag on his head. Delighted for him tonight. COYB Let's kick on from here and get our customary 3 pts at home to Fulham on saturday. Well done boys!

If Moyes keeps the back four of Neville Yobo Jags and Lescott and gives them a run of games now, we will be ok. Don?t bother with Baines or Hibbert, we have seen what happens when you do already. Just hope that Moyes has finally realised it...

I hereby predict that Fellaini will become as big an icon as Big Dunc. Davey sprung a master-stroke with this one and the Begian will become a legend. He will be the bedrock on which our manager forges a new dynasty which will far outlive our tenure of Goodison Park. You will be able to tell your grandkids, ?I was there when Big Maro arrived?. Enjoy!

Only thing I would definately disagree with Dominic is Lescott. He needs throwing in the reserves for a few games as again last night he was utter shite.

5 or 6 times he hopelessly lugged the ball from midway inside our half looking for the run of someone, who werent there. There was even one occasion where a Bolton player blocked the ball, it came back to Lescott, who in turn tried exactly the same punt.

His touch has gone, and he the fluency of his game has dissapeared.

Also made up from the performances of Neville, Jagielka and Fellaini last night. Neville was my man of the match and seems a different player since coming back from injury.

It's early days but Yak and Saha just aren't communicating at all. Both are playing as individuals rather than a partnership.

All in all with the exception of Jagielka, Neville and Fellaini we were awful last night.

A second half fightback after being 1-0 down at home, isn't that whats expected? All of a sudden ? now wait for it ? a defender (our pip) makes a tackle and he is like the football equivalent of Winston Churchill.

Home teams fight back and defenders make tackles... big deal!
