Champions League here we come!

I know the editors are not interested but some Toffeewebbers may like to know that today our ladies qualified for the Champions League with a goal in the 92nd minute.
I know it's not exactly the real thing but somehow it feels good that an Everton team has done something like that for a change.

Just reading that our ladies have got through to the knockout stages of the Champions League. Great effort, well done!!
I then went on to read that they will get to play at their home ground Marine. As we're one of the top two teams in England and have half the England team, surely we can do better by them and provide somewhere to play better than a non-league ground!!
With the States poaching a lot of the English players, I wouldn't blame them if they play at shit grounds like that! (no offence, Marine).

All together now, "Here come the girls". Okay, I know some of you have misogynist tendancies when it comes to women’s football but at least one of our teams are doing it for the Blues.

I don’t think its misogynistic not to give a damn about the Everton Ladies... they’re less relevent to the club than the U12 team... if there is one.
Also, women’s football is attrocious and is given the funding due to PC tick boxing...

Or you could argue its a shrewd move by the club. Women’s football is huge over here in the States and the better our ladies team do, the more well known Everton as a brand becomes. And that bodes well for the club as a whole. A guy I work with knows Everton purely because his daughter has played against and ’Everton’ youth girls side.

Nick - you strike me as the type of guy who thinks women should be chained to the Kitchen sink - its just a feeling I have., After all, you wouldn’t be here if your mother hadn’t played ball!!
