Good to see us going attacking here 4-4-2 and also smart to give Gosling and Heitinga a go on right wing and centre back as well as Ossie presumably in centre-midfield?

Surprising that neither Wallace or Baxter was on the bench for this one, I understand why he’s kept Saha, Felli and Cahill in case we need to change things up, but would have thought that Wallace and Baxter were ahead of Duffy and Agard for a run out.

That said I’d love us to bring on the latter two for some experience - would be great to see if Duffy can match his impressive pre-season showings in real match conditions and have heard great things about Agard.

Phil Brown has entered into the spirit of the game by making loads of changes and giving fringe players a chance.

Moyes on the other hand is only interested in winning naming a near full strength team and giving no debuts to young players.

Isn’t it an unwritten rule that if one team names a young side the other should follow suit? Its good form surely?

Moyes is being a dick. I hope he takes pity on Hull and brings on some kids 2nd half. Maybe even give them a goal or two to save their dignity and Brown’s job.

And there we have a classic example of the flipside of Moyes. 3-0 up against a very poor team, he takes of an attacker and, with 2 attackers on the bench he chooses.....a fucking midfielder.

Now, if young Agard can’t come on for Yakubu when we are 3-0 up then what in the name of christ is he on the fucking bench for?

Madness, absolute fucking madness. Why risk Fellaini OUT OF POSITION when we are 3-0 up!!!

It wasn’t the idea that was so objectionable, Alan. It was your idiotic description of Moyes’ coaching as "madness, absolute fucking madness" and "what is his fucking problem?" That’s pretty bizarre for a complaint about Agard not getting minutes. If you got any more over-the-top there would be blood coming out of your ears. Not that there’s much to impede it.

Can you imagine how many goals we could have banged in if we could have had PN in the team. The mind boggles.

I’m not Hibbo’s biggest fan by any stretch of the imagination, but we are short of cover at left back, so I can understand why Moyes wants to see what he can do over there.

Timbos finally had something to do.
he’s signed 5 autographs in 2 minutes. Nash has actually got of the bench to go for a jog.

Who gives’s a toss about Phil Brown’s job? He’s a dick and was a dick last year and maybe if he took off the earpiece he might hear the supporters booing.

BTW, this isn’t champ manager. This is real life.

Tom - three competions, three results (so far) and quite different opposition. Neville has never let us down, but enforced changes have allowed Davey to be ’adventurous’.

Great win tonight, lads... and don't forget — that's three teams now that have all been shite. Not us playing good football or anything like that just we’re playing the local under-tens!! In fact x three.

By the way, I hope no-one stays up for the bbc prog. If you do make sure you don't blink. You’ll miss all four goals.

Hilarious thread.

Agard - personally I don’t think he’ll get anywhere near the first team.

Although we’ll never find out if he’s not given a go... but then again... if the players on the pitch are playing so well they keep him out — then so be it!

Was pretty pissed off that the match wasn’t on any European stations tonight... pity.
