How fantastic it is that the David France collection is viewable on the internet. Whilst browsing the 'Players' section, I discovered this little gem:

I am quite relieved in a way that the club do not have control of the collection — it may well be one day too much of a temptation for those in power at the club to do something stupid.
My favourite player was without doubt Alex Young so it's great to be able to remember great times during his days.
Tony Kay I always thought would go on to not only represent England but to Captain the team. It was amazing to see the correspondence between Sheffield Wed and Everton regarding his transfer, even the fact the Wednesday club secretary congratulating us on our FA Cup win at Barnsley the day before he wrote the letter.
I never realised another hero of mine, Roy Vernon, had such a great goals to games ratio. Better even than the Golden Vision.
A fabulous achievement and again, congratulations to all concerned.
I never saw him play but wise heads I’ve spoken to rated him as a very good one. Was it him who said that 60 fags a day just gave everyone else a chance?
Come to think of it, we are being awarded pens again. Must be on the up.
