Youngsters at Motherwell

Just wondering if anyone had heard any official progress reports from our two youngsters out on loan at Motherwell. Seems like they are playing regularly and doing well. This must be a better level of football compared to reserve league and must be on a par with some of the Championship matches.

Do they have a future at Everton?

I do like the idea of growing our own rather than just buying readymade stars and with our finances we pretty much have too.

John - Jutkiewicz has just recieved ’Young player of the month’ award. Ruddy getting good reviews in front of dodgy defence.
Future at Everton? -- doubt it- but you never know.

Reckon Ruddy could still make it given another couple of years, but Lukas is crap, and Moyes didnt stop far short of saying so in a public interview.

I’m sure I read somewhere that Ruddy pulled off a number of decent saves in the 0-0 draw with Celtic. I’m in agreement with Dan, Ruddy could make it.

Jutkiewicz won’t make it at Everton. He may be good enough for a lower league side or a Scotish team but he just won’t make it in the Premiership.

Ruddy sounds like a useful keeper but he’s in his mid-20’s now and he’s only appeared once for Everton. Not a good sign. If Ruddy was going to make it you would expect him to be at least the back-up keeper by now.

Dick, if you remember Lukas was described as unbelievably unfit when he arrived at Motherwell. If their standards are better than ours then why wouldn't he make it at Everton?
