Injury List Frightening

Comments (4)

Just happened to look on the link below which is normally good. If it's correct this time looks like its back with the kids for Saturday's game with Utd.

According to all and sundry the International Break just came at the right time and we should have at least 3 players back, well... we haven't and they have possibly been joined by three more — Saha, Rodwell, Howard.

Let's just hope a youngster makes his name at the weekend rather than another embarrassing drubbing. Yakubu the only (half) fit forward? Nash to make a start? Should be an interesting forced team selection if that site is correct.

In terms of outfield players that still leaves: Hibbert, Yobo, Distin, Baines, Neill, Gosling, Heitinga, Fellaini, Cahill, Bilyletdinov, Yakubu + Agard & the other kids — so a decent side can be fielded but the bench will be a bit light on experience unless we get some of the injured back — SSN was saying Everton were checking on the fitness of Neville, Osman & Pienaar. But then it was Sky so it could be bullshit, but I hope it indicates they’re at least close to a return.

Bily is suspended.

Any news on Howard & Pienaar?

I find it amazing how some people view the game of football; take for instance our injury crisis. In my opinion the only players we are really missing are Arteta, Pienaar, Jagielka and Yakubu.

Some people believe that the return of Neville is some sort of godsend!! It's not, people! Some players seem to get better when they're not playing, eh?

Remember at the start of the season when Neville was too slow to track back, giving the ball away every two minutes, not to mention the needless free-kicks he gives away on the edge of our box! Now he comes out with statements that he would never play for City!!

You're having a laugh mate, with their riches you wouldn't get in there 24 man squad! And as for this shite about how great United are, remember who pays your wages, Phill! I've a name for Phill that pretty much does him up for me, sspb. Standy, shouty pointy bloke.
