Happy Days!

Comments (78)

'The Fonz' will get to see this line up of our boys today...

Everton: Howard, Hibbert, Yobo, Distin, Baines, Pienaar, Heitinga, Fellaini, Cahill, Bilyaletdinov, Jo. Subs: Nash, Saha, Gosling, Yakubu, Neill, Coleman, Baxter

I would never have thought Jo would have made the starting line-up for today and i guess the only consolation is the fact that Torres is out for today. Good to see Billy, Felli and Pienaar back, but no Rodwell. I had expected to see Hibbert in ahead of Neill today and i'm quite pleased by that one but gutted to see Saha hasn't made the starting line-up.

I hope Jo proves us all wrong and that his hair proves as big a hit as the Fonz's.

If you didn't know, 'The Fonz' is at the game today.

A good result for us today could see better days to come. Here's to 'Happy Days'...

COYBB!!

I haven’t seen us so dominant in the derby in years but of course those cunts would have to go and grab a jammy fucking goal. We’re all over them and Billy and Jo have missed 2 great chances. Pienaar, Timmy and the big Fella are all playing really well. crucial we don’t let the cunts grab a second or it’s curtains, think we’ll get the next one though...COYB

Right we need to buy a new keeper in January. Yobo is and should remain our 3rd choice defender. Jo hasn;t got it and its pointless playing a loan player we have no intention of buying when we could be giving match expereince to our younger players, pack him back off to Shity.

Other then that another really annoying defeat against a team we blatently out played. Somethings got to give.

Moyes shows too much loyalty to his players, eg Osman — captain, what the fuck? He needs to learn how to fuck players off if they're not performing — how many times over the years have Osman, Cahill, Hibbert, Yobo, Neville to name a few, started or stayed on the pitch. He needs to be more ruthless to be more successful. Jo wants to fuck off on the next banana boat back to Brazil.

That said, we were very unlucky today, we should've won and Pienaar should start in the middle till Arteta gets back!

New keeper? No... A few new defenders? Yes please

I thought Pienaar and Fellaini were excellent today, Bily just needs games. The Yak and Saha are proven quality.

If I am being honest, the only real quality defenders we have are Jag and Baines.

Mark - I don’t understand why you choose to have a go at Osman and Neville when they weren’t even on the fucking pitch today...they wouldn’t have been any worse than Heitinga and Billy (to a lesser extent) were today. steve- im not having a go at osman or neville, im using them as an example to point out moyes shows too much loyalty to the squad.
personally i like osman, many dont, and neville might not be technically the best but what he brings to the team in other areas eg.leadership is different class.

But there is times when both these players are god damn awful and need to be subbed, but they dont. I think moyes should give the kids a run out once in a while to show the lads that there not bullet proof and if you dont perfom you dont play.....simples!!
