Predictions

Comments (33)

The dust having settled since the weekend leads us into a very difficult game tonight.

Let's have some fun and play predict the score. Don't hold back lads and say what you think.

I'll start. Chelsea 2-0. With Osman going missing for most if not all of the game.

With the possibility of Neville and Osman playing in midfield?

It could be a cricket score...

We have the advantage that we didn't play at the weekend and Chelsea had a "derby" on Sunday so I’ll go for a lucky draw.

But, Alan, will they declare at that score? Strikes me we’ll have a hell of a job following on what with our silly mid (field) off injured and the rest of them with square legs.

I,m not even going to clap the spineless bastards on the pitch.

That performance at the weekend has done me in and i,m not looking forward to going to Goodison tonight.
Mind you we can all sing, YOU,VE NEVER WON FUCK ALL, to Moyes.

4-4-2 without Neville and Osman, we have a chance of winning, 1-0 or 2-1

Usual, Moyes negative defeatist shite 4-5-1 with Neville and Osman included, then 3-0 or 4-1 Chelsea.

But I have as much chance of winning the Euro Millions in successive weeks than Moyes ever dropping Phil Neville - so I’m accepting defeat right now, it makes it easier to deal with later on.

2-1 win - Cahill scores first.

Everton to win + the sh*te to lose = 10/1.

Love those odds. Mark my words!

Just the game for Davey ’to keep it tight and hope to nick one’. My guess he’ll aim for a 1-0 victory with Tim getting one from a corner.
COYB!

If we play the right team we could get a result.

i would like to see Rodwell play the Felaini role, Arteta start in place of the love-child Osman and Billy given another chance on th left.

However, I suspect Moyes will do something bizare like play our best defender in midfield and in doing so pairing a true ’pinky and perky’ act together in Distin and Senderos. Alternatively he will rush Tony ’distribution’ Hibbert back from injury to enable Neville to play in midfield alongside Rodwell.

Still, I may be suprised ....

Taxi for Dodd there!!

Depends if Drogba’s favourite central defender Senderos plays. He’s the main reason Drogba has scored 12 goals in 10 games against the Arse. Dunno what side Moyes is gonna field after Saturday’s debacle. We can only live in hope i suppose...

Billy and Arteta start- risky as Arteta didn’t look fully fit on Saturday. No starting place for Coleman- more Neville and Osman. I’m going 500 not out to Chelsea...

Is Moyes a man or Mouse? Ditherer or defiant? The team he selects tonight will be the measure of the man.

I would not be surprised to to see us play with Senderos, Heitinga, Distin and Neville in the back line. Cahill, Osman, Baines and Donovan in midfield and lazy arse Yak lounging around up front.

After a totally garbage excuse of a game, I expect Moyes to say how unlucky we were. Despite all that the only thing I have left is my much battered Evertonian optimism and it is whispering that we will win 3-0.
