Everton imagery in unusual places

Comments (11)

Did anyone else watch BBC coverage of Glastonbury lastt night ? On "the other stage" the cameras panned round the crowd and took long shots of the stage. In all of these shots a large Everton flag was very visible and in some shots covered the screen!

We could possibly use this as a thread to look out for and report on all things Everton in unusual places.

May 2011: Everton at the top of the Prem. That's the only unusual place that matters for me!

Last year I picked out an Everton flag on a huge pole with a white flag above it with a bear on it – looks like it could be the flag of California. No link to Donovan though I'm sure before people start....!

It felt like whoever it was seemed camped infront of the Pyramid and Other stage for most of the weekend last year and BINGO they're back again this year – made my day last night watching it pop in and out of view. The flag that is...

From memory there was a big white one last year too and I only saw one RS one so we won! 1-0 up already this year and its' only HT, come on!!!

Not that I'm anal about it or anything....

Amazed nobody's ever commented before, but it just me who's noticed the subliminal repeating Prince Rupert's tower in the MOTD backdrop during the season?

There is a beach shack in Candolim, Goa, with a big Everton flag flying proudly from it.

Then there's the legendary 'Dixie' penguin story.

From across the Pond.

With EFC kicking ass this season and LD back in the fold, anticipate the Flag flying everywhere in New Everton.

Taking a taxi into downtown Ho Chi Minh City it passes a bar with an Everton shirt displayed at the entrance. I never was able to backtrack and find it so if anyone knows it let me know.

Eric - Dude, for all the talk of finance and what EFC can afford, DM should sign LD. He's the last piece of the 2011 Trophy Lifting puzzle.

The money will come back.

Everton fans and flags aplenty at the World Cup, normally I'm dismissive when other clubs associate with England but anything remotely aligned to spreading the Goodison gospel is fine by me.

Sometimes I enjoy being a hypocrite.
