Everton's Best Boozer

Comments (1)

It?s come to that time of year when there?s nothing really to debate or moan about so I decided I?d put something up about most football fans' second passion, the pub.

Everton probably has the most Pubs near their groun in the Premier League with a variety of different types. I?d just like to see people's opinions on their favourite Everton Pub. Reasons like price, atmosphere, location will be nice as I haven?t visited all the pubs in the vicinity of Goodison Park.

The Springfield Hotel, County Road.

A traditional pub with an attractive interior and free ham sandwiches and cheese and biscuits on matchdays.

No hand-pulled beers or ales and only stella and carling for lager but it's cheap as chips and it's run by very nice people.

Unfortunately I understand the landlady has sold the lease and so new management beckons. I hope they don't spoil this great aspect of Goodison matchdays.
