Arsenal inquire about Arteta

Arsenal are looking at Mikel Arteta as they seek to fill the void in their midfield from the departures of Cesc Fabregas and Samir Nasri. The Times report that Arsene Wenger has inquired as to the Spaniard's availability ahead of a possible deadline-day bid that would leave Everton seriously short of creativity in midfield if they're not able to draft in a replacement.
