Everton close to Drenthe capture

Royston Drenthe is on Merseyside looking to conclude talks on a season-long loan from Real Madrid but it will depend on whether Yakubu and Jermaine Beckford make their moves to Blackburn and Leicester respectively. That's according to Dan Roan at the BBC.
