David Moyes will bid to bring Landon Donovan back to Goodison Park for a second loan spell in January. Moyes said: 'We will look to see if there's an interest.'

If it was an until-the-end-of-season loan as opposed to a Jan-march loan i'd say go for it. But its frustrating to see a top player leave just as we start to depend on him.

Is this story just pasted around forums/papers/websites every year after the MLS season ends?

Landon Donovan was once on loan to us. He done good. He didnt come back. How long ago was that? Can we just move on?

Obviously, given the current state of affairs, I would like him back but reading this stuff every time a transfer window is on the horizon gets a bit tedious.

Here we go again....Sale of 1/2 season tickets needs boosting, No Money..lets loan??... Landon Donovan... Lets say Fellani's close to signing,....Lets say Ferguson's going to bid £20 Million for Rodwell...Lets say some Indian Turkey Basting billionaire is going to buy us...... Come on Kenwright you are supposed to be some West End Impresario so stop producing the same old Christmas Pantomime every Bloody Year and Piss Off...........

It must be approaching xmas time, the Donovan speculation comes around again. Nearly 2 years ago when he signed last for a brief spell. Did not fancy coming here last year and don't believe he wants to come the end of this year neither. That's without even questioning his fitness and ability to compete in the premier league after being away for nearly 2 years.
