Brek Shea, teenage defender with FC Dallas who David Moyes has been to watch play, and is therefore keen to bring to Everton, has joined Arsenal for a month of training as the MLS season closes.

Klinsmann, our National Team Manager, has pointed out the problem of US-based players having a couple months off after MLS and before WC qualifying.

He's pushing them, insisting actually, they they try to link-up with a Euro Club to maintain fitness during the lull or risk losing a chance to play with the National Team. Shea went with the 1st Club would have him in. Arsenal gave the OK.

Love to hear of Moyes's interest because the kid has a lot of potential and, currently, is in EFC's price range. Wish we could have got him in on loan in January. We could afford it and you guys would like him.

Guys, I live in Dallas and Brek Shea is a left sided midfielder, not a defender. He is about 6 ft 4 in tall and has a hell of a shot in him. Personally, I think he is a bit lazy and needs to work on his first touch but he definitely has potential. Much better than Jimmy Mc anyway...
