It's half-season ticket time so no surprise that rumours of an imminent takeover at Goodison are cropping up again.

The latest suggestion is that a deal to buy the club for £150m is in the final stages — this time it's Miami Dolphins owner, Steve Ross, who is supposed to be the interested party according to posts on various message boards and Twitter — but, of course, we've been here many times before.

There will not be any sale, until the BU can re-establish contact with Kenwright and become an active part in pushing the sale. The BU can not afford to be this passive, they need to be in with Kenwright in order to get any information and to put further presuure on Kenwright.

The BU have already failed their aim, as it say here:
Through honest and open dialogue between the club and the fans, we genuinely believe we can help put Everton Football Club back where it belongs.
They have destroyed any hope of getting contact with Bill Kenwright and the club and they are now so silent and dead that people have forgotten ALL about them, and now started focusing on David Moyes and his failings.
Jesus christ, why couldnt you keep that transcript for yourselves like Kenwright asked you to, and you promised to do.
I am angry on behalf of this mess, makes our clubs fans look dumb, and therefore the clapping at Goodison for Kenwright came.
This BU has been a complete disaster, you havent reached any of your goals, you have only made the public aware of the mess we are in, and how does that help when you appear to have no solution to it.
I am sad and a bit angry at this result, and I firmly belive all this have sapped all the good out of Moyes and the players.
Look at where we are now, we are in an even worse situation than before this silly group came to place.
How I wish there were some wise guys inside the BU who could say sorry to Kenwright and try to patch up this mess.

1 point at home against shite like Norwich,Stoke and QPR, one up front against all these teams Phil Neville in midfield, your only bit of creativity stuck on the bench, then when Moyes does what the 30k fans wanted him to do at half time things changed like we knew they would, 31,000 at home with a lower crowd coming this Wednesday, yes its all the Blue Unions fault and the reason I asked was you one of those loyal souls on Saturday like so many of those you slag off, as you would have realised how many fed up,cold and pissed off blues were in that morgue of a stadium.

Paul - watching the highlights on MOTD (so admittiedly I am part of the problem....) I felt a bit sick seeing all the empty seats around the ground. It stood out at the Park End in particluar, cant blame obstructed view on that one.....

Mike, totally understand where you are coming from, I sit near to a few kids and alls they seem to be doing is playing on there phones due to the negative crap, fair enough I am all for caution against teams like City etc but this was Norwich and we had two holding defensive midfielders and one forward.

Not the Fish. Please no. They are one of the worst run franchises in the NFL. Haven't won anything. Last won the super bowl 40 years ago, Last playoff game they won was 20 years ago. They have no clue.
Somebody please Ring Robert Kraft NOW at Patriot Place. He turned that franchise around to be one of the best in the NFL.

150 milllion? Surely not?! A club he bought for 22 million, sold all the assets, has done nothing to improve Goodison, wasted countless millions on two failed ground moves and yet him and his cronies walk away with well over 100 million in profit? As much as I want the fella out that would really stick in the throat. Sadly I think its all rubbish anyway, even if as has been highlighted before on the site, we only gradually rebuilt the ground to a standard required, provided funds for the manager within our budget (Uefa rules etc) any new owner would still have to part with around 300 million, were is the potential profit there?

Ste Ross is worth $3.1 bill about £2 bill does any one believe he would risk 25% of his fortune on us? I dont think so. Before you all start in, it would cost at least £500 mill to purchase us, build a new ground, get new players and pay off debt.

Aha, friends. How will we know if this is even remotely true?
I have a season ticket (2 actually) but nevertheless miss a couple of games now and then. Say, hols, other committments, maybe work, but not often do I miss a game and I will be there tommorrow.
After the game, can I suggest a few write in with a nomination of who was the most high profile person missing from Goodison on the night and follow it up with a guess as to why.
Just for a laugh.
