Everton eyeing up Jordan Rhodes?

Everton are supposedly the latest club to throw their hat into the ring for Huddersfield striker Jordan Rhodes. The 21-year-old Scotland international is on a remarkable run of form having scored 19 League One goals in just 16 starts this season, while also bagging hat-tricks for his country's Under 21 side.

The thing is.
Is this just a run of form??I cant help looking at that bloke at Blackburn scoring,what is it,12 EPL goals now in a very poor side.I believe he only cost them £1.5m.Why were we not looking at him when Blackburn were.

West Ham have already had a 3mil bid rejected. Even if this were real, we couldn't afford more than that without a pot to piss in.

I can't Believe people are still banging on about how our forwards are required to do this that and the other, and that Moyes ruins them - get a fucking grip! Maybe just maybe they wern't all that to begin with!
Johnson average at best, Beattie same, Saha good then crocked now average, Anichebe never good enough, Vaughan not good enough, Vellios same, straq average McFadden showed glimpses average - all these Moyes fault?
A manager at all levels ? even myself (I manage a team in Essex that plays a reasonable standard), even I ask that my forwards defend from the front, run the channels etc ? it's expected of them.
Goalscoring is instinctive; Moyes is no wizard, he can't just magic this out of them. A striker requires service both from the flanks down the middle set pieces etc. Again, this is down to personnel available. this Moyes bashing over strikers is pathetic

Well I can dispel this rumour straight away. He has just scored 5 goals tonight with half the premier league clubs watching at the ground, so we have absolutely no chance of getting him!

Never went in his own half except for kickoffs, didn't seem to make any tackles, didn't defend ONE corner or freekick.
What about all the ones he missed! total crap, he could have had 8, yet all he could only manage 5...and 2 of those were tap-ins from the goalies mistakes.
All he is is Jimmy Greaves 50yrs on, no good for our modern game.
Never went in his own half except for kickoffs, didn't seem to make any tackles, didn't defend ONE corner or freekick.

Maybe, just maybe, this is down to the fact that he wants our strikers in areas that prevent them doing what comes natural to them and consequently leads to a drop in form and then the inevitable fall out....

After 10 years with Moyes I think most of us know Moyes and his faults.
Now he has sold Yakubu adnhas no money to replace him, what was he thinking????????
We paid 11.25 million for Yakubu, yet Moyes ships him out for just 1 million.
The striker situation is Moyes`s own fault.
