The People claims without anything beyond pure supposition that David Moyes could be forced to sell another big name at the end of the season, despite cashing in on Mikel Arteta last summer. They say that could mean England trio Phil Jagielka, Leighton Baines and Jack Rodwell all being targets for predatory rivals.

But, despite their provocative headline, there is no evidence that Moyes has actually said he is faced with having to sell again, unless the club is taken over by wealthy new owners.

Sell top player in the summer, phew that's a relief, I was under the impression that it was going to be this month, how lucky are we that we get to see a top player for another 4 months!!

Just think ? 3 more windows and we won't have to worry as all our top players will be gone!!

Besides 'The People' being tabloid dross that only deal in rumour as fact, there is the state of Everton's affairs to spark this kind of talk.

In any case, what can we do besides buy tickets and watch the team lose?
