Greg Wylde set to join Everton

Everton are closing in on the signing of former Rangers winger Gregg Wylde, according to The Mirror.

While the club's administators were attempting to trash out a deal with players to defer wages, Wylde left the Gers voluntarily this week. The Scotland Under-21 prospect is without a club, and David Moyes is a noted fan of Wylde.

The 20-year-old broke into Rangers' first-team in 2010, going on to make 47 appearances, scoring twice.

Give the kid McFadden shirt and whatever he is on. Watched McFadden in the reserve's the other day did fuck-all apart from moan to the ref. Spoke to a few Rangers fans in work and they rate him as a goos prospect. He got his pick of teams and hopefully we are one of them

Stephen, I've heard that bid is doomed to fail, he is third party owned and that contravenes FA regulations!

Just watched Moysie's interview before the Spurs game. When asked if there was any truth to this rumour, his reply was a flat NO.

I have no idea what type of player he is. Can anyone give us a heads up?

Is he a flying winger with pace and a great cross, is he a play making midfielder with a good pass who likes to come inside etc.

Is he like most of the old firm players who are amazing north of the border but struggle at the bottom end of the Premiership?

Jon, to me he looks the sort of player McFadden did when he was up in Scotland.
