Brentford manager Uwe Rosler will hold talks with Everton today over Adam Forshaw's future, according to the Hounslow Chronicle.

The midfielder's loan spell at Brentford has been cut short after suffering a broken jaw in Saturday's victory over Rochdale — an injury which will keep him out for the rest of the campaign.

Forshaw is out of contract at Goodison Park in the summer, and Bees boss Rosler admits he wants the 20-year-old back in TW8 next season. He said: ?I am going to see him today to see how he is after his injury.

?We will talk to the player and his parents about what might happen and speak to Everton to see what their plans are for him.

Hmm! I see Forshaw's a 20-year-old and, from what I gather reading all the reserve team match reports, he looks pretty damn good.

Trouble is, methinks, Moyes has been told the club has no money to give these guys contracts, so they are kept eternally now in the nursery, farmed out incessantly to other clubs. (I know Barkley has, but he's the summer cash-cow, and will be on show now after the 40-points mark.)

The youth, the first team, the future plans, and all the fixtures and fittings we have left, Kenwright, are not there to provide your producers, agents, writers, etc with that smash hit that you hope eventually buoys up your empire.
