Everton are believed to be interested in trying to sign Wigan midfielder Mohamed Diame who will be available on a free transfer at the end of the season when his contract expires.

On a free wouldn't be a bad risk! From watching Wigan this season, like everyone on TV and MotD, he is not a bad player. I know everyone will say Moses is the one but he will cost a lot more than we have so to add a skilful player to the squad who has been in the Prem for a couple of years wouldn't harm EFC.

Very very skillful as a player.
Keeps the ball when dribbling for fun!

Ian, he was a regular in Wigans side up until he went to african nations. Then he hasnt got in as regular coinciding with him not signing the new contract he has been offered.

He is a good player and would improve our squad.

Would be a decent squad player...not a priority but useful if we filled other more pressing areas.

I really rate Diame, would love to get him in our team. He's a big physical presence and is very skillful too. He has a great engine too to get from box to box, something we sometimes lack! It's probably just another rumour but he'd be a great option, especially on a free!

I would rather us concentrate on places we need cover for i.e. striker/left back/right back/wingers.
He may be free but he wages aren't!

Just to stir the pot, Diame would be a like-for-like replacement for our current big physical presence in central midfield, who Chelsea are on the verge of signing, according to the latest Daily Bullsh*t rumour !

I'll leave the spending of the 20-odd million balance to the Toffeeweb football managers......
