Everton are hoping to land 22-year-old Ryan Mendes of Le Havre in France's second tier this summer according to reports.

The striker's contract has a year left to run and David Moyes, who has sent scouts to watch him, is eyeing a £1.5m capture of a player also being watched by Montpellier and Lille.

That's right, Everton, put out lots of red herrings so that Spurs don't know which way to turn! I'm sick of them stealing our targets ? their scouts must be useless.

That is what lost 'Arry the England job. Moyes chased players who were not English and yet 'Arry would have wanted them in his team.
