What appears to have the hallmarks of a completely made-up story at the infamously inaccurate Caught Offside website links new Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers with plans for a cheeky bid to take Marouane Fellaini across Stanley Park.

Agreed, but we've seen this sort of thing before. All of a sudden we find we have no money and we are FORCED to sell!

However, Davey brought in Felli as his pride and joy; at first he was a clumsy awkward guy who the fans were unsure of but NOW he is still Davey's pride and joy and one of the fan's favourites! A great player who I'm sure that Davey would fight tooth and nail to keep!

What is this? An eight-column story that manages to say Liverpool's new manager wants Fellaini and Everton have no money? I love the last para. My reaction reminded me of the Mash get Smash advert from when I was a kid.

"If Fellaini felt that the Anfield side had a team in place"... ha ha ha, "a combination of solid financial investment from the club?s American owners"... ha ha ha ha; "to help Liverpool to regain their place as a genuine title chasing outfit" ... ha ha ha ha ha!

Oh, and what about ...."if Felli thought the redshite had a forward thinking young well respected manager like Brendan Rodgers"??,....What? as opposed to a backward-looking manager? Or an old one like say Fergie, or Wenger? Oh yeah, that would be terrible.

What an utterly pathetic story, not one quote, just filling up space because nothing is going on. Focus on the Euros, CaughtOffside, because you know naff-all else.

Agree completely, Roberto. It's the kind of silly season shite I hate putting up links to. Just appears to be pure speculative drivel, triggered no doubt by this kopite twat noticing that England are playing Belgium today.

Off the subject but recently read an interview with Elstone who was quoted as saying Moyes would have to sell to buy. He quoted falling attendance figures as one of the reasons.

Considering we had two improved cup runs that saw an additional 46,000 fans through the gates compared to last season and additional prize money from the cup run to the tune of £1 million plus revenue from the semi-final, I think attendance and prize money revenue is up by about £3 million compared to 2011. They have also released 8 players, saving over £6 million a year. I realise we have operating costs that BK cannot account for but surely there should be enough money avaliable for at least Peinnar and a "free"?

What are other people's thoughts on this?

If Fellani was going to leave Everton, it would be for a team that plays in the CL, not for a 'project' that might, amd probably will end up in tears
