After tracking the nonsense that appears in papers and now internet 'sources', I still can't fathom why this is the one area of 'news' where it is seemingly acceptable to write the most abject bollocks with no accreditation and no comeback.

It can't be to sell newspapers coz that clearly ain't working worth a shit as circulations of all the dailies continue to tank... Yet people still lap it up.

I guess the piece of the puzzle I might well be missing is the gambling angle... But are people really betting on this stuff? Or is that just another scam for the already rich bookies to suck the hard-earned cash off the faithful punter?

People know the score with Moyes he's a survival guy not a go getter, once you scrutinize his armchair ride at Everton as the journo in the other thread has uncomfortable questions regarding methods, ambition and courage expose the myth.

10th with no cups this year methinks with everyone except Moyes blaming the board - I wonder why?

When the market begins to reflect movement of money this favourite's odds will quite often shorten considerably; which means loads of 'mugs' have believed the hype and are feeding the market - then when the guy who gets the job knows he's got the job - just watch the market get suspended as soon as he starts tipping off his mates and there's a surge in betting on this bloke.

I couldn't possibly tell you - but let's just say Alan Pardew getting the Newcastle United job a few years ago wasn't a huge surprise to everyone - when Martin O'Neal was odds on favourite and Pardew was between 16/1 and 20/1 the day before - the book was suspended within 15 minutes of Pardew accepting the post. (according to some)
