5 million is incorrect. The deal is more like 3 million, but Fenerbache wants to lower the offer to 1.5 million.
That is the situation, not 5million.
Who would pay 5 million for Yobo when he only has one year left on his contract.

I would go for 2.5 at minimum or 2 with add on fees.

Yobo has 80 odd caps, been captain for a good few of those, is only 31and is clearly rated high enough by Fernabache. I saw the Galatasaray play off game and he looked in great form, I can?t understand the lack of interest, especially from teams in this division, one he knows. If you were a promoted team he would be a great signing, imo of course.

It all depends if there is interest elsewhere but I find it strange we can?t shift him for around £3/4m. Although I suppose, like the Yak situation clubs will exploit the fact he has no future at Everton at all, we want shut as well and seem happy to take the drop and kill the situation.

Fenerbache run a hard bargain, we should follow their example when selling players.
Just last season we sold Yakubu for around a million when he cost 11.25, and Bily cost us 9 million and he was sold for 5 million.
I say no wonder we are broke, 10 years with selling players for less then you bought them for can do that.
Also the wages paid needs to be looked at.
Cahill earns around 70.000 a week according to the media, how is that healthy?
Fellaini I can understand, he has real market value.
Also Baines earns less then Cahill, I find that strange.

Only after Moyes took control did we start breaking our limit on wages.
Even though it can be good for keeping players like Fellaini, but there has to be a healthy wage limit on squad players, currently there is no limit.
So Cahill needs to be sold, if only because his wages are way too high.

Also Yobo is on 50.000 a week, that goes to show the problem I am getting at.
Moyes/Kenwright needs to lower the wages being paid, but players such as Baines and Fellaini are highly wanted so they need to be on high wages, Cahill and Yobo do not.

I'm suprised anyone does any business with Turks judging from other events which have gone on and what i've heard here. It necessarliy not inherrent in their culture is it though?... Haggling! Only correction is that he cut the clubs nose off, not his own. He's not out of pocket, but the club certainly is because the manager was unable to keep Yobo at the club playing until there was an offer and basically sidelined him. Similar situation with the yak, as you correctly point out.

He deserved to be sidelined and I hope he doesn't come back. Dozy prick made Jags look like Messi and was prone to mistakes, even tying his shoe lace while the opposition scored. (can't remember who).
