Happy Blue Christmas

To all our readers, writers and contributors, we'd like to take the opportunity to wish you a very Happy Christmas and New Year.

We'd also like to thank you for your continued support of the site —: as always, it goes without saying that without you, the readers, there wouldn't be ToffeeWeb.

Here's to another strong second half of the season and, hopefully, a crack at avenging Collina-gate! COYB!

As we here in England approach Christmas Day, may I take the initiative and thank Michael and Lyndon for the work they do in presenting the site we all enjoy.

May I also wish each and every contributor the best of wishes for the festive season and in to 2013.

Finally, though not literally, may I wish the best of whatever it takes for our glorious club to get to the promised land of the Champions League by the end of the season.

Thanks

Merry Christmas to all, thanks to Michael and Lyndon for another superb year and to all on the live forums and also to Ken Buckley for the match reports which have become required reading and to all posters and live forumers. Have a terrific Christmas and here is hoping for a Blue New Year!

Happy Christmas to one and all on Toffeeweb. I love the site, the banter, insight and even the perfectionists who pick holes in my spelling.

Off to Goodison tomorrow for the visit of Wigan, first game I've been to in 12 months.

Received a wonderful gift of an Everton Encyclopedia, signed by the boss (Howard Kendall) — over the moon.

My missus just accused me of 'getting everything wrong at Christmas'.

I have no idea WHAT she's on about.

Anyway, I can't stand Christmas, my attitude is - Bah pear drop!

See what I did there?

Can't wait for tomorrow, curry chips and a fish from the supper bar and hopefully a whupping for Wigan. Love and kisses to one and all!

Just got up here in the USA so Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all you blues.

Great job Michael and the team with this site which certainly keeps me connected with anything worthwhile concerning the mighty blues.

Lord, how I miss Gwladys St on days like this.

A Merry Christmas to all, as well as the absent posters of this site who make it such an entertaining and amusing, sometimes contrary but always Blue day.

Well I'm all alone at Christmas as I'm with the yuletide man-flu, making me the last person you want to be around. I don't mind this day on the sofa under the duvet, but Escape to Victory doesn't seem to have held onto the quality that was obvious to a ten year old, and seeing Lord of the Rings first time round was enough for a life time, so all I got to look forward to is Family Guy doing their StarWars rip off later in the night. And I've still got to wrap my bloody presents. Cough, wheeze, splutter...

From Alaska........Happy Holidays. A sincere thanks to Michael and Lyndon for keeping the ToffeeWeb lifeline alive (in the true sense of the word). Will hopefully park my arse in the Gwladys Street later this season as we restart stacking 3 pointers. Have a jolly at Goodison tomorrow and a brace for Jella if he's not benched.

James, Paul .......... We live in the UK and I would like to wish you and all Toffeewebbers A HAPPY or indeed a MERRY CHRISTMAS ...... Not Happy Holidays!!!
Over in the states on holiday at the moment and I really detest this pc nonsense of people not being able to say Happy or Merry Christmas for fear of offending ......... I've made a point of saying Merry or Happy Christmas to every man, woman or child whilst here!

So once again MERRY CHRISTMAS !!!!!!!

Paul Columb

And a HAPPY CHRISTMAS to you too John. I'm by no means pc, nor American for that matter (Irish) but do not subscribe to the fairytale of a virgin birth on a date chosen to cover up existing pagan celebrations nor all the symbolism that followed.....hence 'Happy Holidays'.

It's a day off work, early ales and footie to look forward to on boxing/St Stephen's/Wednesday (doesn't exist here unfortunately); sounds like a holiday to me!!!

Make sure to tuck into microbrewed ales while you're in this neck of the woods, particularly in the Northwest. The Wigan game is on Fox Soccer Channel although shown after the fact as the City, Spurs and Shite games are shown before. Have a grand time.

Merry Christmas to all. TY Lyndon and Michael for a fantastic website.

Off to Lynch's Irish Pub in Jacksonville Beach, FL with 3 cousins and at least 2 sons for Boxing Day tomorrow. And as the game won't be shown live here in the States my biggest TY of them all to Lyndon and Michael for the live Game Day thread!

Eat a big Irish breakfast, follow the Blues on TW game day thread, then watch Liverpool get fucking trounced (er, beaten up' clutched, grabbed, dive, whine, cry, et al) against the thugs.

Heaven!

Good work.

Good start to Christmas with the max 6 points ... and then an Evertonian's son scores 2 goals to beat the RS!

John Atkins — Take it easy, Brother and Merry Christmas to you! It's the holiday season over here in Immigrant Nation. No one's excluded. There's no PC.

Think of us Irish here on St. Patty's Day. Everyone's Irish on St Patty's Day. Same-wise the holiday season is for everyone, you exclusive so-and-so.
