Darron Gibson
Does anyone know if Gibbo has had that operation on his thigh yet? I would have thought it would have been a top priority for him and the club... any news?

If they'd done that, people would have accused the club of spouting any old crap to avoid anything about the manager search.
Hopefully they're focused on transfer targets, player retention, and commercial opportunities instead of releasing every medical room movement.

Gibson is one of our best players and we didn't have the luxury of having him fully fit for the majority of last season. Don't why you make the assumption that people would think Gibson's operation would be a trivial bit of news

The injury cropped up at a time when he was not very fit and Moyes was demanding more effort.
To quote David Moyes. "The player says he has an injury. The player says he needs an operation."
Make what you will out of that.
