U18s see off Bolton challenge

Everton Under-18s recorded their sixth straight victory as they fought back from a goal down to secure a 2-1 win against Bolton Wanderers at Finch Farm.

The young Blues' fine run of form looked to be ending when they fell behind to a James Thomas strike after half-time. But Kevin Sheedy's never-say-die scholars turned the tie around to net a win that keeps them in second place in the league table.

George Green levelled the scores with a low drive and then Callum Connolly bent a shot into the corner following Harry Charsley's cut-back to seal three hard-fought points.
