The last time the two countries met in a friendly in 2012, Lionel Messi bagged a hat-trick but the Swiss have proven to be handful in the World Cup so far, their 5-2 drubbing at the hands of France at odds with a handsome win over Honduras and a tightly-contested 2-1 win over Ecuador that was secured in stoppage time.
The winner will face the United States or Belgium in the quarter finals.
