I take it St Luke's is the church at the Corner of GP.
It seems that the club are on good terms with them - what are the chances of obtaining this 'building' to extend/upgrade the stadium?
Probably been discussed many times but I also understand that the club have bought/obtained the car parking/van hire business close to the ground so there is obviously something up?

Yep, that'd be great if we could incorporate the church into the ground.
I suspected that, with the van sales business disappearing, it might have been bought by the club. Maybe why there's been no further talk of a proposed new ground.

Brin, it saddens me to no longer see the iconic church in the corner but instead a telly screen so I hope any redevelopment of the ground (stop laughing at the back Kenwright) restores the view or at the very least pays significant homage to the church.
I'd have hired it on matchdays as a corporate entertainment venue, it's got to be better than a tent in the car park surely?

With the club no longer allowing the scattering of ashes on the pitch, the memorial garden in St Lukes provides a place for deceased Blues to be forever close to their heros. I didnÂt know until very recently that this garden existed until my brother had his ashes put there.
