Howard Kendall. Seen him on the Pig and Whistle a while ago. Nice fella and funny. IÂ’ve been to a few of them after-dinner speeches. Very good.

I went to school with John Bailey, another nice fella and what a player. I havenÂ’t seen him for a while.

IÂ’ll ask a few of the mates to see if their interested.

If anyone deserves a tribute, it's Howard. Excellent manager first time round.

Yes brilliant manager Howard. And a very nice fella as IÂ’ve met on at least one occasion to talk to. But IÂ’ve seen him at quite a few after dinner speeches and a number of other ex players. Really good nights.

Legend of legends. No words to describe his greatness. Great manager - no qualifying statements.

Greatest Evertonian of all time!

Tony Kay? Does he even know Howard? Certainly never played with him.

As a true tribute, there should perhaps also be one or two non-Everton players or managers invited to talk about him.

Seen him a few times, he is a good speaker......before the ale takes over.

Went to a Legends evening, and the Legend on my table (who I shall not name) said that Howard is fine until the ale kicks in and then he gets a little bit snidey. Seemed about right.

Great Evertonian and a true Legend.

What a great night that sounds like - even better the fact that it wouldn't involve any gobshite whatsoever from across the park who have over-invaded every other area of football punditry, etc.

Great Manager (correct in stating first time round), and also a great set of real Evertonians. I envy those who will be going.

Howard Kendall — What a player and manager he was for Everton Football Club. A true legend in my eyes.

I think, with the squad that Everton have at this present time, how about Everton bringing back Howard Kendall as Everton manager for a 3rd time lucky? He will stand more chance of winning a trophy and getting into the top 4.

Really looking forward to this night. A deserved tribute to a great servant of our club and a really nice man who has earned our respect.
