Swansea havenÂt been much good and neither have West Ham but the one fluent move with a player overlapping, getting to the edge of the six yard box and hey presto Bony scores the opener. Simples!!!!

ItÂs no coincidence that teams like Swansea, Newcastle, WHU and Southampton (all above us btw) have had hardly any injuries so far this season.

Colin, Saints have had injuries to first team starters in Ward-Prowse and Jay Rodreiguez to name two off the top of my head. They have had a nice run of fixtures with new players who no one knows yet, remember when we signed Jelavic and no one sussed him out early doors either? That's ran out now, and it will deffo get tougher for them. Signing a very useful keeper was a very astute bit of business for that side however.
As for The Hammers, they are an ale house side with a few decent footballers, but if I have to read anymore about Big Sams new style of football whilst still playing with Tomkins, Collins, Nolan and Carroll I'll puke.

The press gang are amazing aren't they, when Big Sam was employing the same tactics at Bolton the Southern media were all over him and his team writing how ugly it all was, but play the same way at West Ham and it's fine to play that style until the Hammers lose a few matches and then it will be all out of fashion once again.
Fans may be fickle but not as fickle as the media.

How about that for refereeing? Surely had to be two reds if one. But both should have been yellow only. Classic case of home crowd influence?

Agreed - Michael, I also thought Swansea's keeper shouldn't have been sent off at West Ham, a yellow card would have sufficed. Many of the referees are influenced by the home crowd apart from at Goodison it seems. :)

Yes, Patrick.
Another brilliant save from Schmeichel and Agbonlahor was not offside, there was a Leicester man on the goalline! Bloody officials!!! (This is a pretty good game now!)

Regarding Konchesky: yellow card for the tackle (it was poor), and yellow card for the response (intimidation plus weak head-butt) — I could by that.
Perhaps the ref combined the two in his mind and showed red rather than two successive yellows then a red (which, admittedly, I can't recall ever seeing).

I've just looked at the table and Villa have only scored TEN goals in the PL this season but have 19 points a strange season indeed.

Kasper Schmichael is a good shout as well. Good keeper in my opinion.
Also, who the hell is Dennis Lawrence? what credentials does this man have to qualify being Everton's defensive, so no mark who has been involved with Trinidad and Tobago?
I think Martinez needs to re-think his backroom staff and get someone who can actually work on our defence à la Dave Watson.

Now I'm no great fan of some of our players... But Paul Konchesky... Millionaire footballer?

Spot on Paul, we're now below Villa who just beat bottom of the table Leicester at home and weve got tonked 1-0 by Man City.
Kenwright, Martinez, Lukaku, Barry, World Cup punditry, scouse pies instead of Sayers, Umbro, Barkley's dives, smoking in the bogs at half time... OUT!
