Big Thank You
It's that time of year again boys and girls, another year nearly gone.
I'm sure you would all like to join me in thanking Michael and Lyndon for the excellent work they have done in keeping the best Everton web site by far up and running.
I'm not exaggerating when I say, that at times it has helped me keep my sanity and helped me through some torid times as a supporter of the best football club on the planet.
So thank you lads, it is appreciated so much.
Have a very Happy Christmas and New Year... NSNO

Is right Dave. Thanks lads, I can’t imagine what it’s been like the past few weeks! Wish I had a pound for every time I’ve looked at this site. Best wishes to all at TWeb, and every Blue across the globe.

A great site. The best in my opinion of all the sites available for Evertonians.
If I had one gripe it would be the repeated bans I have had for what I see as a strong exchange of views amongst men, in the same manner we would discuss it in the pub after the game. But unfortunately what the mods see as being aggressive.
Still, top marks & all the best to Michael, Lyndon and fellow ToffeeWebbers.

Thanks gentlemen, M&L, for all your hard work during the year. And thanks as well to all ToffeeWebbers for the fun and games and robust opinion-sharing.
I do think an uncaged lunatic gets hold of some of your sign-on details at times, but I'm sure some people feel the same about me.

I'll add my sincere thanks and best wishes to Lyndon and Michael. I live on the Internet and the fact a ToffeeWeb link commands a permanent spot in my (visible) bookmarks bar says it all. The views of some of my fellow Blues may sometimes wind me up something rotten but I keep coming back, and back, and, back! :)

Thanks to Dave for the original post and all who have weighed in with compliments and your own appreciation of the site.
Thank you again to everyone who uses the website, though – however regularly – for your support and your readership. May 2015 bring us Blues the trophy we've been starved of for 20 years!

Thanks a million to Lyndon and Michael. I think that without TW, my knowledge of all things Everton would be a lot less. If I'm honest, I think that at times TW has kept my interest in the club alive.

A big thanks in return to all our readers and especially our contributors. The progression of the website over the years has developed through Lyndon's brilliant coding skills into a more socially interactive form well beyond the original concept, which was to be an online source for EFC information and comment.
As Lyndon says, it would be fantastic if we could celebrate winning a trophy, as we did in 1995, soon after our formation. We've tried to provide some continuity of coverage since then and develop a comprehensive archive for what's gone on in the internet era, but the dynamic is mainly focussed on what is going on now. And that of course changes continuously, almost to the annoyance of some who want the perspective of the full season to be assimilated before we comment. I prefer the day-to-day perspectives to be honest, and I think that is the imperative that keeps us all engaged... no matter how bad it gets.
Thanks again to all of you, and have a great Christmas. I'm thinking of turning off the comments facility tonight and through Christmas Day so we might be less of a distraction, and can start up fresh on Friday for the Boxing Day crunch game against Stoke!

Merry Xmas to the blue band of brothers and sisters globally.
Michael and Lyndon thank you for creating a platform which provides a much needed outlet. Being a blue stirs up a maelstrom emotions at times and the discharge enabled by this site has probably helped me keep my sanity and avoid marital strife!

Merry Christmas Lyndon and Michael, and all fellow ToffeeWebbers!
The site is fantastic, always has been. Some days after a bad Blues display the comments on here make you feel even more down (though I'm sometimes guilty of adding to them myself) but following a good win coming on here just makes being a Toffee the best thing in the world!
Here's to an improved second half of the season and best wishes to all for 2015.

I'm an Addiction Counsellor by profession and come across all sorts of addictions & afflictions.
TW does it for me, visiting the site many times daily. Supporting "The Blues" can be both joyous & exasperating in equal measure, although of late, mainly the latter.
TW is the anti-dote to this phenomena of having an emotional attachment to a football club and experiencing all the pain that accompanies this strange concept.
So for making that platform possible, I salute you! site administrators', but above all, the wonderful posters who maintain the highest standards of decency and footballing insight. COYB

Yes, well done chaps, have a good Christmas, its a great site expertly run.
Although when we lose its usually slash your wrist time and sack the manager, too much feast or famine from some which is a wind up.
My blood pressure is too high to start with!
Where all think the same, no one thinks very much, springs to mind I suppose.
One criticism is not being able to correct your own post when you've made obviously wrong or stupid statements.
How about it M and L, can it be done?

Also, a big thanks to Rob Sawyer, Patrick Murphy, and Tony Onslow for their historic articles and Ken Buckley and Paul Trail for their match reports - really enjoy reading all your pieces on here.

To M&L, my friendly local dealers who supply my fix and satisfy my cravings 24/7. Thank you so much.
To all the TWebbers for their stupid, intelligent, thoughtful, thoughtless, funny, upsetting, thought-provoking, varied, and wonderful comments throughout the year.
Sometimes the personal comments have been close to the edge, but I know it's all with a good heart.
In the 1970s, a feller said to me "You can't kid scousers and Blue noses especially."
Good luck and health to you all and our club for the coming year.
