Change can be difficult, but is not always unpleasant.
Let's hope that TW's new setup inspires a similar improvement on the pitch.
By that TW, I mean that I'm quickly getting to like the new setup.

ItÂs right by Ghana beat Algeria tag line,
just click on comments and voila..It would be easier if comments were default setting but I am sure the guys are on it.
Thanks Tony that was a great help, it just shows you can teach a very old dog new tricks.
Is there a way of incorporating Twitter but not at the expense of the most recent comments? What about putting it where the latest headlines from GOT are posted - I for one never look at them. Many other sites I use have Twitter update feeds on a margin usually.
The biggest change might be on the interior pages where the boxes of article types that appeared sequentially down the right-hand column are now consolidated into the tabbed box.
Twitter on the homepage is inside a tab for now but I'll look into pulling it out into its own section as Paul suggests above.
Very good, much more modern, better user experience.
Great, thanks!
Just need a win tomorrow now.
UP THE BLUES.
We probably take it for granted, but thanks again for you and the team for such a super site.
Fiddle-faddling around with typefaces, layouts, tabs and other website malarkey..............FFS man!
Get us three points against Palace!
THAT is what a proper Evertonian would be doing!
Right, now I'm off to finish my sudoku.
Also, I tend to use the mobile version of the site and get problems when I return to homepage from an article. The page looks different and some logos on top of each other. Certain tabs disappear also and things are in a different order.
Other than that, thanks for a great site. I used to use the official page and BlueKipper but now almost exclusively use this site. I enjoy reading the fanzines like WSAG and this site reminds me of them with the different fan articles and such... love it lads, keep up the good work!
Stay tuned...
I have to scroll down quite a bit to find the comment section.
It worked fine on the first day of your new changes but this problem seemed to have popped up sometime on Saturday.
Hope this helps you to find the source of the gremlins!!!
I love the new lay out and thanks for all your hard work.
I hate to add to your workload but I can't post from my iPhone as my name is missing even though I am logged in. I get a message saying please add your name but there is no space to? Not sure if others are having this problem. Sorry to be a pain!
It is usable though... so that's the most important thing. I also think it will look great based on what I can see.
To give you a better idea of what I'm seeing more than happy to send screen shots, but in terms of homepage I get:
- Logo cut off at end of 'e' on ToffeeWeb and 's' of established.
- A significant gap to first full width image (not cut off and everything fits within margins from now on) (Lukaku pointing up) with title 'Resolute Everton find winning formula' underneath.
- I then get three items (middle says 'Match Preview' but others don't say news/articles etc), smaller image on left, title top followed by short overview.
- Next is ToffeeWeb poll.
- Then three news items with short descrption but without images, starting with Atsu's AFCON antics.
- Further six title only items followed by News Archive link.
- A line separates three Rumour Mill items (apologies if this is reading like an audio description transcript - just trying to help).
- Another line, then 'CLUB NEWS' and two headlines.
- Line and then Everton videos (full width with caption sized title underneath)... six then link to more.
- Line then section titled 'Opinions & Match Coverage' all with type e.g. 'Match Report', title, author then thinner line. Six of these with link to 'More editorial'.
- Thick line separating section to 'Talking Points', six items with just titles and authors as theyre all Talking Points... link to more.
- Line to Mesage Boards & Game Forums. Six items then link to 'more messages'.
- Another thick line then 'ELSEWHERE ON THE WEB'. Title, source, 'Read article', 'discuss'. Six shown then link to more.
- Thick line then advert.
- Now I get tabs 'ARTICLES | TALKING POINTS | TWITTER'. ARTICLES is highlighted and six article items... content changes appropriately when clicking through tabs in contained area. Thick line at bottom of the containing area which.
- RECENT COMMENTS has five items.
- Directly folowed by two adverts (although think second has taken over league table as there's a link to see full table below, at it's acting like an iframe - scrolling ad).
- Five Grand Old Team items.
- Finally footer.
I planned to write differences on other pages... but hopefully this wil help in some way.

Like Tim #27 above, I've been having problems using the site from my phone in recent days. All the content appears jumbled and overlaid, whilst there are advert boxes suddenly cropping up which I can't get rid of and which obscure half the page as well. No problems from any computer thankfully.
This has never happened before until the last week or so. I do rely on using my phone to read TW quite frequently – any ideas what might be going wrong?
I've solved the scrambled problem on my handphone by connecting on Chrome. The TW site now works fine on my handphone.
Mark @44, you should do this too.
If you click on submit opinion I just get a headline and nothing else on 64bit comp and android phone. Yet it seems to work on 32bit laptop.
On chrome and firefox if you press either large or middle text size buttons the whole right hand side of page disappears. No A symbols at all on IE. This happens on 64 or 32bit
I hope this may help you a little to iron out teething problems.
