My Mum's charity, the Honeyrose Foundation, is doing a Battle of the Mersey sportman's' dinner on the 9th of May at Devonshire House Hotel on Edge Lane.

We have guests Neville Southall, Ian Snodin, Graeme Sharp, Phil Neal, David Fairclough and Alan Kennedy plus comedienne Pauline Daniels.

We will also be having a Battle of the Mersey quiz with hopefully a star prize for the winning team.

Tickets are £50 with a 3-course meal and £30 without. The charity it is for is St Helens-based and provides special wishes for adults suffering from terminal illness.
