Weekend League and Cup Football

Some respite from the 'bad news' of the last couple of weeks, a victory for Spurs at Loftus Road keeps the gap at six points. Palace play QPR next weekend whilst Leicester take on Hull and Sunderland take on Aston Villa. It could be a pivotal weekend for the bottom clubs so it is very important that Everton beat Newcastle.

Well done Harry Kane, yet again. He's having a stormer of a season, what a bit of application does to a player. And keeps QPR off our tail (how we have fallen this season). Another thing of note, just about every game yesterday when the stats pop up on the BBC, shots on and off target were double figures. We seem to have two or three per game. Why so shot shy Roberto?

I watched the second half of the Villa West Brom game last night. Villla came out for the second half full of confidence, played like a team that had been at the top end of the table all season and at the end of the game Villa Park was rocking. They may just start to pass us out in the league table.

Just watching the RS v Blackburn game, heard a little bit pre-match about Blackburn's 'Rudy Gestede, he's everything we would want Lukaku to be.

He's operating on his own up front and not given the RS back four a minutes peace.

Looks like he can run all day, bet he ends up in the Prem next year.

The RS will be given preferential treatment from the council for the foreseeable future. Their supporters bring money into the city from far afield. Ours are already there.
