Caused to think laterally by Sam Day's captivating and diverting "Spanish Everton", I got to wondering....
When this "interesting for all the wrong reasons" season ends, it seems we may not have the usual "football free" close season. This year, apart from playing the "Isn't the transfer bollox a load of bollox" game, we have other options.
The Chilean Season will be available via some stream or other and so the exploits of Everton de Vià±a del Mar surely must be of interest to ALL Evertonians? Personally, Everton really need to do far more to cement this almost unique relationship than just a single "Banksy Graffito" on the GP wall on Goodison Road.
Then, given the open, honest and always inspirational accounts shared here by "US Blues" who have "Been Touched" and realised that they too are "Chosen", which, if any, MLS Clubs should Evertonians await "The Calling" from, which should we shun as false and deplorable for their "Johnny-Cum-Lackey" lickspittlery of which we are so familiar from "non-domicile" EPL followers.
Or is it, Everton and Everton dVdM "stick the rest"?

From what MLS games I've watched so far, it's really poor fare on offer. Seen Orlando a few times and they huff and puff and do ,not much else but then it's great seeing Adrian Heath at the helm and having won several Coach of the Season awards in their other guises before they moved the franchise to Orlando.
I guess when it comes to MLS teams you just have to find an Everton connection.
As an aside give me A-League games any day. Honest football, end-to-end, played by two mediocre teams covered in tattoos!

Perhaps IÂm too drunk to understand this post, but it seems to be all over the place. MLS does seem to be getting better, however donÂt watch a game in the dead of August. No one is trying.
As far as the Blues go next season, nothing less than Champions League or FA Cup trophy will do. This season, Martinez lost a lot of political capital with the fans.
