Moyes being lined up for the Olympic Hammers?
It could be bad news for the moist-eyed Moyes lovers who think/hope he'll be coming back to continue where he left off after his embarrassing dalliance with the big time at Old Trafford: apparently the rumour mill has him taking West Ham into the Olympic Stadium next season! — His Chief Scout is already with the Hammers, so they say on 606.

Happy Birthday Mr Moyes, I think heÂll probably go there rather than remain in Spain, itÂll have Allardyce spitting feathers though. Quite often, Moyes did better than Big Sam and the Hammers would probably suit him – weÂll have to be wary of who he would try to take from Goodison if he does get the job.

Patrick, couldnÂt care less where he goes as long as it is not back here.

Dave - Perhaps BK will buy the Hammers when he sells Everton... :-)

If he does end up there he can happily take Howard off our wage bill!

Happy birthday to Moyes. HeÂs doing a good job in Spain at the monent and I think heÂd do well at West Ham if he got offered it.

Patrick, thatÂs more like it, IÂd say they deserve each other.

I mentioned this a week ago. A West Ham-supporting mate of mine told me he had been Âinformally sounded out about the job. For the record, he and the other Hammers he has spoken to were decidedly unenthusiastic at the prospect. The phrase Âthinking manÂs Allardyce was mentioned.

The rumours have been going on for a few weeks that West Ham want Moyes for the job. But IÂd be very surprised if Moyes accepts. He has proven himself in the Premier League as a decent manager and he always said he wants to manage abroad.
West Ham are not a step up from Everton. He either wanted a step up, which he got and failed. Or a move abroad, which he got.
When he leaves Spain, I think he will try Germany. He said when he leaves Everton heÂd like to manage in Germany.

IÂd be surprised actually, he is a little bit similar. A West Ham mate of mine never went to the games anymore since Allardyce went in charge, I think him and the owners want more attractive football.
I think maybe someone like Michael Laudrup? I want Moyes to stay in Spain and do a really good job with Sociedad.

I think this makes a lot of sense. Moyes is capable of playing better football than Big Sam, as he did when Pienaar and Arteta were playing at their best.
I donÂt think he has been particularly successful at Real: he has just achieved the minimum. I think a parting of ways may suit both parties, whilst the West Ham squad have the sound defensive basis which Moyes likes, with money to spend.

Blimey, time heals no wounds for the ÂBy ToffeeWeb poster. IÂm putting my fiver on Michael Laudrup.
DonÂt know anyone who has said he should come back. I watched Sociedad at the weekend against Villarreal and it was one of Âthose Moyes performances.
He canÂt go for half a season then come back. Does nothing for him or his club.
