Everton have signed Fraser Hornby, a 15-year-old midfielder from Northampton Town's Academy, under the terms of the Elite Player Performance Plan.

The Cobblers will receive an initial payment of 65,500 and could earn up to a maximum of 1.3m based on first-team appearances.

I know he's only 15 but an actual transfer complete hours ago now and no comments yet?

Welcome Fraser if you and I are the only two reading this thread.

I add my greetings to those of Shane. I hope things work out for you. Keep your head screwed on and don't get caught up in the hype.

Shane (#1),

See, there's Dick and I wishing the lad well too, I hope we have unearthed a gem, and not another makeweight potential that never really quite makes it.

It can't be disputed we have a pretty good set up and excellent ex-blue player coaches, to develop any talent.

Interesting to see a tweet from Fraser Hornby's brother, @LewisPaulHornby, confirming his move to Everton as long ago as 31st July. He's pictured training in an Everton shirt. This one's obviously rather old news where Everton are concerned but it's been kept quiet until now.
