U18s thrash Blackburn
Everton Under-18s thrashed Blackburn Rovers 4-0 away on Saturday. Everton were three goals up at the midway point as Rovers struggled to deal with their high tempo football.
Callum Connolly set the ball rolling on 20 minutes when he cut in from the left and found the target with a right-footed shot from just outside the area.
Five minutes later and the lead was doubled thanks to Liam Walsh who tapped in following good build-up play from Calum Dyson.
Everton's third arrived on 35 minutes when a short corner was intricately worked to Harry Charsley who converted at the near post.
Blackburn rallied at the start of the second period but the game was put to bed when Charsley ran through and executed a fine lobbed finish from 16 yards out on the hour mark to completed the scoring.
Everton U18s Hewelt; Birch, Connolly, Graham, Thorniley (75' Yates); Walsh, Charsley, Davies; Dowell, Dyson (85' Edge), Holland (55' Newell).

This Callum Connolly, he seems to be bagging a lot of goals of late both for us and England, has anyone seen much of him? He looks a bit of a prospect.
