That's sad, sorry ladies ..........what are the chances of the team becoming professional, as I'm guessing it is almost impossible to compete with full-time teams?

Money, money, money. Shame for the ladies after some great work over the years but hard to compete when you lose over half your team... unless you have Ronald Koeman managing.

Big shame, remember refereeing them in the early days. Everton would supply the kits, whilst others including the Redshite wouldn't give their girls anything. How times have changed!

The Redshite are to blame for this as when they took ladies footy seriously they bought virtually the whole of our midfield and front line. This was after we had nurtured them into the players they are.

FFS! Is it me remembering this wrong or was this team close to winning the league in the last 2 or 3 seasons?

I thought all the best ones ended up at Man City. Shame on Kenwright for letting them try and compete as part timers and lose all their best players! Short-sighted doesn't even begin to describe it.

Everton Ladies went on the wane ever since Mo Marley left. I couldn't even name the current manager but he seems pretty inept.

I feel a bit bad for the ladies but I'm sure most of them will be competing in the WSL with other teams in the near future. The real loser is Everton who only win silverware through the ladies and kids.

Hahaha... Karl Masters @ 6 – Anything to have a pop at Bill. What about the Kennedy assassination?! Where was Bill?! Oh it's okay... he was in the boys pen.

Maybe the conspiracy theorists got it all wrong and should be tracing the trajectory of the bullet from the Boys Pen rather than the grassy knoll.....

With regards to the Women's Super League - a combination of Mo Marley leaving, our international standard players going over to the dark side and then the usual tale of money trumping under-funding. How can a part-time team compete with a full-time team with better facilities, more training and full-time wages?

And Manchester City being promoted to the top division despite not winning their league and one of the originals in the women's game, Doncaster Belles, being relegated. Where is Sepp Blatter when you need him?......
