The Everton Former Players Association and deCoubertin Books are hosting a signing of Dave Hickson's posthumous autobiography, The Cannonball Kid, at St Lukes Church ahead of Everton's match with West Ham United this Saturday.

Hickson's former teammates Jimmy Harris, John Sutherland, Tony McNamara, and Derek Temple will be joined by John Bailey from 12.45pm-2.30pm.

Copies of the book will be available for the special price of 15 on the day, a saving of 3.99 on the cover price.

In addition special limited edition versions of Hickson's book will be available for purchase at the special price of 30. Beautifully presented in a blue slipcase, these beautifully produced collector's editions make an ideal gift.

These books are officially launched on Monday 24 November and will be available in the deCoubertin online store and at selected bookstores in Merseyside.

Each book contains an original signature from Hickson, taken from a signing carried out by shortly before his death. The cover is designed by leading artist, Steve Welsh, whose work featured on BBC MOTD's title sequence at World Cup 2014.

This is a limited edition of 250. As with the standard issue, royalties benefit Hickson's nominated charities, the Everton Former Players' Foundation and the Lily Centre.
