The Blues' upcoming fixture against Nigel Pearson's Leicester City side on Sunday 22 February will see Everton in the Community celebrate its 27th birthday and to mark this special occasion, the game has been designated as a day of celebration and awareness with a donation from ticket sales going direct to the Club's official charity.

Established in 1988, Everton in the Community has pioneered many initiatives to tackle the problems that are prevalent in our communities and stimulate real social change. Its award-winning programmes focus on a range of social issues facing the people of Merseyside including education, disability and equality, crime and those issues high on the health agenda, such as mental health, dementia, cancer awareness and obesity.

In support of Everton in the Community, £1 from all general admission ticket sales will be donated to the Club's official charity to enable it to develop its ground-breaking work across Merseyside and to continue helping change the lives of so many.

The Everton in the Community birthday fixture will also see the launch of the charity's first Blue Nose Day with fans encouraged to give generously to the charity and sport a limited edition Blue Nose on the day; more information on how to get your Blue Nose will be released on www.evertonfc.com in the coming weeks.

A host of activities are scheduled for the Foxes clash with fun for all the family to join in with and show their support for the charitable arm of Everton Football Club.

Everton Football Club has donated the mascot places and the opportunity to be Toffee Lady for this fixture to its official charity to enable them to raise vital funds to continue the fantastic work they deliver throughout Merseyside.

This once in a lifetime opportunity will offer young Evertonians a truly memorable day where in advance of kick-off they take part in a Finch Farm training session before journeying to Goodison Park where they will meet a handful of Everton stars, enjoy their own private party and then prepare for their roles as player mascots before they lead out the teams to the sound of Z Cars.

Both packages will also include a full Everton kit, three tickets for two adults and one child and a goody bag. Additional tickets can be purchased through Everton in the Community discounted ticket scheme. Official photography of the day will be posted to each child as a lasting souvenir of their experience.
