McAleny could emerge as key to Cardiff revival

Conor McAleny impressed in his first appearance for Cardiff against Sheffield Wednesday and has South Wales media anticipating the impact he could make to the Bluebirds this season.

The forward, on loan from Everton until the end of the season, was deployed at the tip of a diamond formation at Hillsborough and started the move that led to Cardiff's goal.

He is set to make his home debut for against Brighton tomorrow night.
