Paul Tait's men got off to a flyer, with Kieran Dowell scoring in just the sixth minute with a far-post header. Captain Ryan Ledson then doubled the lead three minutes later, sweeping a perfect shot into the top corner from outside the box before Jonjoe Kenny's attempt to make it 3-0 in the 13th minute was cleared off the line. Delial Brewster did make it 3-0 late on, capping a good performance from the Blues. Everton U19s: Hewelt, Bainbridge (Langton), Kenny, Thorniley, Yates, Ledson (c), Connolly (Brewster), Davies (Robinson), Dowell (Birch), Donohue (Henen), Dyson (Holland). Sub not used: O'Loughlin.
