Brabin leaves Blues to take up Tranmere post

Gary Brabin has left his role at Everton's Academy to take up the managerial role at Tranmere Rovers, the club have announced.

The 44 year-old joined the back room staff in January this year and has worked with the Under-14 to Under-18 age groups.

He now succeeds Micky Adams at Prenton Park with the task of returning Rovers to the Football League following their relegation to the Conference this month.

Given the number of responses on this thread, it looks like many of us didn’t even know he was here in the first place, good luck to him at Tranmere, I suspect he’s going to need it.
